I am absolutely loving this powerhouse of a series! I was already excited about this book before any information was released about it. When the blurb was released I was on cloud nine because it sounded so amusing and so intriguing.
This author's writing style is so top-tier. The storytelling is relatable and I felt such a kinship with the author's writing voice. The premise of this book is so interesting and the execution of the plot was perfect. I loved the bits of humor spliced with heartfelt moments. There are subplots and depth in the story. The crafting of the plot was so impressive.
These characters are so well-developed. I was so in love with them from the very start. The characters were relatable and distinct. Each character had their own way of standing out and making the reader take notice. I loved the complexity of the character development. The supporting characters added a lot of depth to the story.
This romance was fascinating from the start. The entire premise leading up to their relationship was intriguing and didn't disappoint. Cole and Mia had tangible chemistry that felt so explosive. Their romance was a little unconventional but it was just so perfect.
Overall, Waiting Game is a funny, swoony, steamy, good time of a story that you won't be able to put down. The characters are so well-written and the plot will sink its claws into you and not let go. I can't wait for more books in this series because it is fast becoming one of my favorite hockey romance series.

Anyone who follows my book reviews knows that I am definitely in my sports romance era. Hockey romance is a personal favorite and I was thrilled to start this series!
I could not put this book down! I was so jazzed by the compelling writing and the execution of the plot. I connected with the author's writing style instantly and I was very impressed with the storytelling.
The characters were such a breath of fresh air. I was so dazzled by them because they were so relatable. Liam had all the qualities that a reader could want in a hero. He melted my heart completely. I really felt for Gracie and all her struggles but also admired her for wanting to be set apart from her family.
Liam and Gracie had such profound chemistry with one another that jumped off the page. I loved their dynamic and couldn't get enough of the two of them together. There are sweet moments and there is spice and there is such a perfect balance.
Overall, this was an entertaining friends-to-lovers hockey romance that really stands out. Liam and Gracie are soulmates and their journey to their HEA was so compelling. I am so eager to read the second book in this series! You won't want to miss out on this one!
