Bow down to the queen because A.L. Jackson has got this small-town romance thing down to an art. 

Jackson is a brilliant storyteller who knows her craft well. The romance genre is full of copycats and cookie-cutter stories but Jackson really stands out with something special. Her writing style is lyrical but relatable. The world-building always keeps me absorbed in the story. The plot is compelling and entertaining. I was glued to the pages of this story and it kept me so enthralled. 

These characters will consume your every thought! I was so drawn to these characters. I am such a sucker for stories with huge family elements. I adored Ezra's children and they were such an important part of the story. Both main characters stood out and had individuality. I also loved the small-town aspect and how the side characters added so much depth to the story. 

Ezra and Savanah were both lonely souls that gravitated towards each other. I loved how their romance blossomed. They were such a perfect fit for one another. They had chemistry for days and I loved Ezra's protective nature towards Savanah. 

Overall, this was a top-notch romance filled with suspense, memorable characters, and impeccable writing. If small-town romance is your cup of tea then you need to pick up one of A.L. Jackson's books. She has several to choose from and you can't go wrong with any of them. Be prepared for these characters to carve out a little piece of your heart.

I was in the mood for a dark romance and this one did not let me down. This is a story that will grab you and not let go.

This author really has a knack for sinking her teeth into you and grabbing your attention. I immediately connected with her writing style. The storytelling is relatable and filled with intrigue. The plot of the story is so compelling that you won't want to stop reading until the last page. The world-building is atmospheric and transplants the reader into the pages effortlessly. 

I love how distinct the characters were. Sometimes in Reverse Harem books the male love interests kind of blend together but this author did a great job of distinguishing them and giving them their own personalities. The lead female character was very relatable and I enjoyed her POV. 

This is a "why choose" romance story with a lot of spice! I loved the dynamics between the characters. There was angst and great banter. I was fully engrossed in the relationships.

Overall, this is a gritty and emotional dark romance that will totally consume you. If you are a fan of tropes such as Reverse Harem, Bully/Dark Romance, Enemies-to-Lovers, and College Romance then this book will be your next gem.

His tongue darts out to wet his lips. “But it changes nothing about my feelings for you. I crave you. Madly. Deeply. Beyond any doubt.”
I swallow away the lump in my throat and turn around so I don’t have to look him in the eyes.
But the mirror in front of me forces me to face my own demise.
Those same familiar hands wrap around my shoulders again, making me want to lean into him.
“You are so beautiful, Crystal,” he says. “Like a goddess of vengeance.”
He leans in to plant the softest of kisses on my neck, stealing my breath.
“Would it be so wrong to be loved by someone like me?” he mutters. “To be ours?”
“Do you think I could ever be more than a toy?”

He backs away slowly. “Close your eyes.”
Even though my brain tells me not to, my heart screams to listen, so I do.
“Stay there.”
My breathing is ragged as I’m left alone in the dark.
After a few shuffles, I hear something slide.
CLICK! CLICK!
“Now open your eyes and look at me.”
When I turn around, he’s on the bed, the robe draped by his side, leaving only his boxers, his wrists bound to the poles at each edge with metal cuffs. Around his neck is a thick leather band with a metal chain dangling from the ring.
