This was a fantastic small-town romance. I adore stories with characters from opposite worlds. Especially when one character is from a big city and the other is from a rural area. It always makes things interesting and this book was definitely compelling.
Claire Hastings has such a complimentary writing style. I love the way that she brings the reader into the story effortlessly. The plot really kept my interest and the story flowed perfectly.
I loved these characters so much! Noel was so swoony and Bronwyn was so relatable. There was some great character development. I loved all the secondary characters and how they brought the story together nicely.
Noel and Bronwyn have instant and intense chemistry. I was rooting for them the entire way and they were so perfect together.
Overall, this is a beautiful story that you will fall so in love with. I loved all the found family vibes in this book and all the memorable characters. The southern charm will win you over. I can't wait to read more from this author!

The premise of this story really jumped out to me from the start. A MMC that goes off to become and famous music star and leaves the FMC behind with a broken heart? It just sounds so juicy that I couldn't resist. I knew that I had to read this story.
Claire Hastings is such a great storyteller. I love her down-to-earth writing style. The story flows wonderfully and her writing voice is so relatable. I enjoyed the plot of this story so much. It was entertaining and kept my interest the entire time.
I loved getting to know these characters. It was so easy to connect with them and walk in their shoes. I loved the character growth and the journey that these characters take together. This book has an excellent cast of secondary characters. I loved the friend group so much. All of the supporting characters added so much depth to the story.
Dustin and Kenzie had undeniable chemistry. You could tell that these two had a past and that it brought so much tantalizing tension into the story.
Overall, this was a fantastic second-chance story with plenty of emotion and small-town charm. I fell head over heels for these characters and the riveting plot kept me fully absorbed in the story. I can't wait for the next book in this series and I will definitely be keeping this author on my release radar.

This author has such a great writing style. I always fall right into her stories. The writing is engaging and the plotting of the stories always keeps me glued to the book.
I really enjoyed these characters. It was easy to step into their shoes. Camden was such a total book boyfriend. I really felt for Sylvie and empathized with her self-esteem issues. All of the secondary characters were great. I loved that all of the characters had individual and distinct personalities.
I loved watching Sylvie and Camden's romance blossom. They have incredible chemistry that only shines more as time goes by. They have some hurdles to overcome in their relationship but their journey is so satisfying.
Overall, this was a sweet and swoony friends-to-lovers romance. The story was heartwarming and the plot kept me entertained. There are unique characters and excellent storytelling. I am so eager for the next release from this author!
