This was an engaging and entertaining story with a strong theme of family. I fell right into this book and read it in a single sitting. I loved this introduction to the Swift family and now I'm eager to read more of their stories.
The characters in this story are ones that are easy to relate to. They also seem real instead of merely characters in a book. The author does an excellent job of fleshing them out so that they feel genuine. I loved the backstory and the personalities of the characters.
I liked the chemistry between Bristol and Sawyer, but it felt like things moved too quickly. It may just be me or perhaps simply because the book is on the shorter side. Otherwise, their romance was a delight to watch unfold. From Bristol's stubbornness to Sawyer's persistence.
Overall, this is a short and sweet sports romance. I enjoyed this story very much. I haven't read the other books from this series by I definitely want to now.
