This is a captivating second-chance romance that touches upon so many other things. It's a really beautiful story full of hope. This story touches on abuse and I think that the author told Everly's story with grace.
I loved the strong connection between the two main characters. Aaron and Everly's chemistry was undeniable. I love the way that they seamlessly felt like they belonged together. I personally connected with both Aaron and Everly. I loved their character development throughout the story.
I really enjoyed the author's writing style. Everything flowed perfectly and I loved the prose. The author tells a beautiful story that certainly isn't an easy one to tell but it is a satisfying one.
Overall, this was a story that I connected with easily. It touched upon sensitive topics and I think that the author accurately painted a picture of abuse and what it can be like for the victims. This may not be a book for everyone. If you are easily triggered by sensitive issues then you may want to skip this one. Otherwise, it's a very uplifting story that I wholeheartedly recommend.
