This was such an intense read that I don't even know what my emotions are doing right now. They are seriously all over the place. This author really shows us the fine line between love and hate with this story.
I don't even know how to describe my feelings because they are so conflicted. Everything about this book was pretty much perfect, but Theo was every inch a bully. Some of the things that he said and did to Abigail were just...yeah. My feeling didn't know how to process them. Extreme is a word that comes to mind. And even though he is like this with Abigail, the reader still can't help but love him. It's such great writing. What is great about these characters is how raw and real they are. They are not without flaws.
Overall, this was a bully romance that was absolutely gripping. The emotions that you will feel while reading this are insane. If there is one thing I know for sure it is that this author does the bully romance trope some serious justice. If you want to read a bully romance that will make you question your morals then read this. I am so eager to read what comes next from this author!

"Why are you here?” I asked.
Theo’s knuckle grazed my chin as a smile curled his lips. “Truth or promise?”
I had a thought as he perverted the sweet game we used to play as teenagers.
The thing between us was darkening, twisting, and I should run. Run before I darken and twist with it. I was the Wicked Bitch of the East Coast, but I wasn’t the words they called me. Not really. I liked to pretend I was as callous as my brother Grayson, as cunning as my sister Gemma.
In reality, I was soft. As they said, there was a reason I’d never fit in. I was a marshmallow. Easy to step on. Easier to squish.
So I answered. “Truth.”
Theo smiled, easy and slow. “I’m going to break your heart, and you’re going to thank me for it.”
