This is a dark bully romance that really hit the spot for me right now. I haven't read anything by this author previously, but I am certainly eager for the rest of this series now. I was still swept up into this story without looking back.
The characters have so much personality that they really grab you straight from the beginning. I felt that Rocky was a little too forgiving at times, but overall I really liked her.
The banter between Rocky and Xavier is to die for. I am such a sucker for a little bit of fiery dialogue between characters. They had electric chemistry that burned up the pages.
I enjoyed the plot of the story and I felt that it was executed well. There are twists and turns in the story that will keep you wanting more.
Overall, this is an enemies-to-lovers bully romance that you won't want to miss out on. The characters will get under your skin and have you craving more. I can't wait for the next book from this author!
