Blog Tour, Guest Post & Giveaway: Heist by Kezzy Sparks

Title: Heist
Author: Kezzy Sparks
Release date: October 31, 2019
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Thriller

A thrilling introduction to the dark mystical world of Melanie ‘Breaker’ Perkiss, Buffalo NY’s most capable witch hunter and spell lifter.
In this debut instalment, a dark mage acting on behalf of a vengeful ex has magically removed the genitals of a man and vanished, leaving him wiped clean down there. And unfortunately for the victim, he is set to wed…now imagine saying ‘I do’ while in that deprived state.
No wonder when a shell-shocked and heartbroken Casey walks into Melanie’s office to report the incident, the witch hunter immediately goes on a chase, risking her own life as she encounters dark creatures and malevolent spirits in the city’s darkest corners.
The pressure is indeed on Mel: the wedding is fast approaching and leads remain few. Will she be able to corner the mage, recover the taken goods and save a doomed marriage, while bringing the conspirators to justice?

GUEST POST FROM KEZZY SPARKS
HEIST DREAM CAST

Thanks to the Novel Nerd Faction for allowing me this space to muse on an impossible idea. The chances of getting a novel turned into a successful Hollywood movie are low—may be one in a million—but I suppose it won't hurt to sometimes imagine such thing as happening.
Given that, then, here are some faces I would like to see taking on some top roles, should HEIST be turned into a film.
#1. Jennifer Lawrence for Melanie Perkiss.
My reason for this is that Jennifer Lawrence is naturally feisty and kick-ass. She showed her ability to portray a feisty character in the Hunger Games and so she should be able to do Melanie Perkiss justice. J Law is also charming and relatable and that only makes her more suitable for this critical role.
#2. Charlize Theron for The Mage.
I have always generally liked Charlize. She has been in the acting business for a long while and has proven herself as an actress to look out for. It would be a pity, though, to see her take on the role of an antagonist in this, but I suppose she is no stranger to that. She indeed should ace this role.
#3. Liam Hemsworth for Casey McLong.
Liam is a fine actor who has acquitted himself well in recent years, featuring in movies as diverse as The Hunger Games to The Last Song and Independence Day. It would be nice to see him take on the role of Casey McLong, the most hurt person in the HEIST saga. Liam for sure should be able to bring Casey to life on screen, and we get to see all the distress he goes through, up to the final act of heroism.
#4. Nina Dobrev for Megan Jenkins.
I love Nina, and I have known her for a long time ever since her days in Degrassi: the Next Generation—when she first cut her teeth fronting the camera. In recent days, she has won critical acclaim for her role in The Vampire Diaries, and so should have no trouble playing Casey's fiancee.
#5. Kristen Stewart for the client
Most Hollywood watchers would be well aware of Kristen's fall from grace when she cheated on her then boyfriend Robert Pattinson with an older director, Rupert Sanders. That didn’t amuse a lot of people, myself included, and for that reason I would like to cast her in an antagonistic role. And my choice of that would be for her to jump into the shoes of Client E, the jealous ex and initiator of all the bad things that happen in HEIST.
#6. Robert Pattinson for Tyler Skinyard.
Robert is a likeable enough guy who has won the hearts of many. He is gentle and caring—so much to the point that I may not want to see him ever cast as an anti-hero, but then since I have given the client’s role to Kristen Stewart, his ex, I just thought I might as well give him the role to play Client E's ex-lover, douchebag actor Tyler Skinyard.
Do you agree with this cast? Contact me to let me know.
