Wow, this book packs a powerful punch. From enemies to besties is a long stretch but this story delivers. I was completely taken in by these characters. Maddox is one of those characters that have much more underneath the surface. Lila is one of those strong heroines that doesn't back down. The way that they taunt each other and their banter was just awesome. There was so much sexual tension and their connection was undeniable from the start. This was a slow-burn that was both excruciating and marvelous. Overall, this is a book that will make you feel so many emotions. It is totally addicting and I cannot wait for the second book in this amazing duet.
