‘Getting lucky’ is a phrase I could barely say without blushing...
Yep! I’m that girl. The one my friends call goody two shoes...
But...good girls don’t finish first. THEY—GET—DUMPED. Even after investing—no, wasting—six years of their life on the guy who was supposed to be the one.
So...I traded in my halo for a pair of horns!
Hello, world...Clover Kelly is single and ready to mingle!
Then it happened, I suddenly found myself starring in the dating game to beat all dating games.
While pouring out my heart to my best friend, my new quest for lust is accidentally broadcast live...ON THE RADIO! Yay, me!
Did I mention my best friend is an uber famous radio personality...and a guy? A really hot guy? Yeah, his face isn’t plastered all over town simply for his name…
When the requests to win my heart came pouring in and became date after horribly bad date - I couldn’t help but wonder...
Could he? Could we? I mean I’m already breaking all the rules.
What’s a girl gotta do to get lucky?

This is such a fantastic friends-to-lovers romantic comedy! The story is hilarious, heartfelt, and so much fun!
The plot of this story plays out perfectly. It has wonderful pacing and is full of surprises. I was glued to these pages. I love the way that the author mixes humor into the mix of touching emotions throughout the book. The balance if perfect.
The characters were so easy to love and connect with. You can really see the great character development for both of the main characters as the story progresses. In the beginning, Clover is more of a straight stick, but then she goes on all of her dates and then realizes that she loves Austin. His development was great too. He goes from a womanizer to sabotaging Clover's dates once he realizes his feelings for her. I adored Clover's friends as well. Their dishing over the dates was hilarious. And the bird was the absolute best.
Clover and Austin definitely have incredible chemistry, but that isn't so surprising considering that they were such great friends. When the blinders come off, they both realize that they may have been looking for love in all the wrong places. They are both sort of opposites, but they complement each other in the best ways. Their romance was a slow-burn that crept up on you.
Overall, this was a funny, entertaining, feel-good story that left me with a smile on my face. I am really looking forward to more books in this series! I am definitely hooked on Cary Hart's brand of romantic comedy!
