Disclaimer: This review MAY contain spoilers. I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.

I don't think that I was fully prepared for this story from reading the synopsis. And I don't mean that in a bad way at all. This book was very different from many of the contemporary stories that I typically read.

First of all, this is a steamy ménage romance, at least for some of the story. The plot was easy to follow and left me surprised with the twists in the story. There is so much drama that the reader really has no idea what to expect. I liked the writing style. Everything was easy enough to follow, but I felt that some parts of the story were a little rushed.

Evie is a character that is easy to identify with. She is broke and is trying to find a way to ease some of her extraordinary debts. She decides to sell her virginity. This isn't a trope that is at the top of my favorite trope list, but I suppose I was indifferent to it in this story. Dominick answers her ad and he has ulterior motives in mind. Jake is a rather complex character. He totally rejects the idea of love, but then he falls for Annie. She is similar to Jake in that she also doesn't do love. She has a lot of uncertainty about Jake. All the while she is dealing with a stalker situation.

I won't give too much away about the romance in this book. It is definitely sexy times galore and in the end, our characters find their HEA.

Overall, this is a story that will capture your attention from the start and keep you wanting more. It has a compelling story with characters that you will gravitate towards. If you like your books with plenty of sexy moments, drama and conflict, and heartfelt moments then pick this one up. I'm excited to read more from this author!
