Emery Rose can tell a story that reaches you at your core. I have been such a fan of this author since I fell in love with her Love and Chaos series. This book sits pretty well with all of her other masterpiece stories.

Emery Rose is such an outstanding author. She has a magnetic writing style that draws you in. The story was so addicting. The plot was compelling and entertaining. I couldn't get enough.

These characters were so intense and complex. They were relatable and had distinct personalities that really stood out. I loved all of the emotions that Rose packed into these characters. I loved how authentic the characters were. They had flaws and made mistakes and the reader really gets to dive deep into their lives and experience their journey. The character development was fantastic. The cast of side characters is awesome and really brings things together and adds so much depth to the story.

I am such a sucker for romances where the characters have known each other closely since childhood. I love all of the emotions associated with that kind of dynamic. Noah and Hayley's relationship was complicated because they brought out some of the best in each other but there was also some toxicity so they are constantly tipping the scale from one side to the other. They have to really work themselves out to make their relationship work. Deep down their love is authentic and consuming.

Overall, this was a beautifully crafted romance full of angst and a plethora of feels. I can't recommend this book, series, or author enough. Emery Rose is truly a masterful storyteller who can make you feel a plethora of emotions and entertain you with a profound story that you will remember for a long time to come. I am sad to see this series come to an end but I am so stoked for Rose's next release.
