This was such a darling, heartwarming story. Claudia Burgoa is such an impeccable storyteller. I am usually wary of novellas because the story development is often lacking leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth. This wasn't the case here. The author was able to create a novella that has development and depth. Her writing voice is easy to connect with and the plot kept me engaged throughout the story. The characters were relatable and unique. Each character was distinct and stood out to the reader. I loved the chemistry between Henrik and Lou. She had some hesitance at first because of her recent divorce but things soon fall into place for them. Overall, this was a sweet second-chance romance with all the feel-good vibes. I can't recommend this book and this author enough!
