This book is small-town romance at its finest! I am convinced that there isn't a trope that Meghan Quinn can't master. She takes off like a rocket with every new release.

Meghan Quinn is definitely the queen of her craft. I am still astounded every time I read another one of her books because it always feels like it was written just for me. The quality is always outstanding and her writing voice is so relatable. I love her creative scenes, amusing situations, and clever plotting.

I have fallen so in love with this group of characters from Almond Bay. All of the small-town vibes and the family unity make these books stand out in a big way. The characters are all so complex and distinct with fantastic character growth. I adore the quirky townsfolk and the strong bond between Aubree and her siblings. It is so easy to fall head over heels for each and every character.

I am so jazzed every time there is a mention of or appearance of a character from another one of Quinn's books. The fangirl in me goes gaga and the easter eggs put me on cloud nine every time!

The chemistry between Aubree and Wyatt was top-notch! All the witty banter and sexual tension were masterfully written. I was invested in their relationship from the start. I loved how Wyatt appreciated Abree, saw the best in her, and wasn't shy about letting her know it. It really warmed my heart. There was definitely a lot of drool-worthy angst at the beginning of the story but Aubree and Wyatt's relationship felt very genuine. There was a level of comfort that they had with each other that was endearing. I loved the fake relationship trope and how it was executed. Seeing all of those real feelings pop up between them was so heartwarming.

Overall, this was an entertaining story full of heartfelt emotions, humor, and family vibes. Meghan Quinn tells an impressive story each and every time. I am so glad I decided to take a chance on this author years ago because I have found my go-to author for quality romcoms. The next release from this author can never come fast enough but when it does I am always blown away!
