Football Romance
He’s the pro athlete everyone wants to be.
Quarterback Trey Van Horn didn’t become the league’s MVP by accident. Years of self-discipline and iron-clad control have made him the envy of everyone in and around the game of football. But when he comes face-to-face with the one who got away, his tightly managed life is turned upside down. Now he’ll do whatever it takes to score the greatest comeback of his life.
She’s tired of being every guy’s doormat.
London Headley is on the verge of having the career she’s always dreamed of. Too bad the path to her promotion runs through the guy who broke her heart a decade earlier. So what if everything about the Milwaukee Growlers QB sets her panties on fire? She’s determined to keep things professional. Life has taught her that men will always choose something—or someone—over her. It’s going to take more than a Hail Mary to get her to buy into the fairy tale.
The only problem? Her lips don’t seem to want to follow the game plan. Not when Trey is executing an all-out blitz to prove he’s worth a second chance.

This book was an addictive football romance about the one that got away.
Tracy Solheim is a great storyteller. I was drawn into the story straight away with the easygoing writing style and the compelling storyline.
The characters were relatable and easy to root for. They were fleshed out and felt distinct with voices that stood apart. The character development was executed well. The secondary characters really brought everything together and gave the story depth.
The romance was a slow-burn second chance that felt very genuine. There were so many emotions involved and Solheim did a fantastic job of evoking them to great effect. Trey and London start out unhappy to be working with the other when their jobs push them together but their chemistry ends up stealing the show and making them think otherwise.
Overall, this was a winning second-chance sports romance that was entertaining and heartwarming. I will be on the frontlines for the next sports romance release from this author!

I cannot deny my love affair with the marriage-of-convenience trope. Make it a sports romance with an immigration-in-jeopardy angle and I am on cloud nine!
Tracy Solheim has an undeniable talent for storytelling. Her writing style is very pleasing and she can capture the reader effortlessly. The plot was very captivating and kept me enthralled and wanting more.
These characters were such a breath of fresh air. Even the secondary characters stood out and made an impression. The characters were relatable and interesting. They had distinct personalities and had great character growth.
Andi and Dex start out with an arrangement that turns into so much more. I loved the dynamic between these two characters. There was some great banter and the attraction was undeniable.
Overall, this book was the perfect balance of emotion and humor. This story was compelling and un-put-down-able. If you enjoy sports romance with memorable characters and fantastic storytelling then this book will be right up your alley. I am so excited for the next book!

I loved the unique characters. They were a breath of fresh air. I felt an instant kinship with these characters. They were original and entertaining. All of the secondary characters were also great additions to the story. They added a lot of depth and kept things interesting.
Luke and Summer drew me into their orbit. Their chemistry was intense and undeniable. The fact that their dogs brought them together tugs at my heart. It was just the cutest!
Overall, this is a feel-good sports romance that brings its A game. While this book had its sweet moments there was also a lot of emotion packed into the story. The characters were memorable and entertaining, the plot was riveting, and the storytelling was brilliant. If you are looking for a romance that will put a smile on your face then you've found it! I can't wait to read more from this author!
USA Today bestselling author Tracy Solheim writes books with shirtless men on the cover. Some of them are actually best-sellers. The books, not the men. When she's not writing, she's practicing her curling. . . bottles of wine, that is. She's been known to cook dinner but no more than two nights in a row. Most days, she'd rather be reading, which to her is just necessary research. She lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her husband and a neurotic Labrador retriever. Her two adult children visit but not often enough. (See the note above about cooking.) Check out her romantic suspense series featuring the Men of the Secret Service--shirtless, of course!
