I love this series so much! Kaylee Ryan tells such character-driven stories that pull you in and hold you hostage.

I love how easily I connect with Ryan's writing style. Her narrative has such an easygoing feeling that I can fly through the pages at light speed. The plot was carefully crafted to make you feel all the feels and keep you glued to the pages.

After reading the first book in this series I fell so hard for this cast of characters. There is a heartwarming and close-knit group of friends and family that is #squadgoals. I loved getting to know Legend and Monroe better. Each character in this series is fleshed out very well. Each character has a unique personality and adds a lot of depth to the overall story.

This book has all the best tropes! Age gap, marriage of convenience, friends to lovers, and all the small-town vibes! Legend and Monroe had obvious chemistry in the first book when they were secondary characters. Their chemistry became explosive when they got married and were around each other more. It felt so natural and meant to be. I loved their romantic journey from friends to a fake relationship to discovering there was more between them than friendship.

Overall, this was a sweet love story that put such a huge smile on my face. This story was filled with romantic moments, heartwarming emotions, and a riveting journey. Once you start this book it will engulf your every thought. This series has characters that you will fall for so hard. I am looking forward to diving into the next book!
