I love discovering new authors that I vibe with and Trinity Lemm did not disappoint!

College sports romance is my comfort genre/trope and Lemm was a skilled storyteller in this arena. Her writing voice was relatable and easygoing but not without emotion or conflict. The plot was masterfully woven with all the bits and pieces needed to make it addicting. Once I started reading this I could not stop. I was mesmerized.

The characters were so vibrant and distinct. Even the secondary characters stood out. I connected with the main characters easily and felt absorbed into their orbit. The character development was incredible.

I loved the banter! The close proximity made it easy for Lane and Bridget to grow a relationship. I loved how their relationship blossomed from friends to more. The two of them had solid chemistry that could be seen from a mile away.

Overall, this was a light-hearted but emotional story that hit all the marks. If you enjoy a college hockey romance with a secret relationship and a cinnamon roll hero then this is your book! This book packs humor and heart and blends them perfectly. I was so captivated by this story and the phenomenal storytelling. I can't wait for the next book!
