This is a story of best friends falling for each other that had me hooked from the start. It had me feeling all the emotions that are possible. This is a rom-com that even throws in a little suspense and keeps the reader on their toes. 

Colin and Kirby have been friends for years and I love how the author showcased their friendship first. Friends that fall in love is one of my favorite tropes and Valente writes it so well. You can definitely feel the chemistry that spins between these two. Their banter made me smile so hard. Get ready to experience a story full of the shenanigans that can only take place when two friends cross boundaries. It's such a fun time. 

Overall, this is a story that surprised me and had me laughing up a storm. This book has a perfect mixture of humor, feels, fun, and heat. This is the first book that I have read from this author but it will not be my last. And luckily for me, there is an ample backlist library for me to get started on!
