Title: Bad for You
Series: Lone Star Lovers #9
Author: Taylor Holloway
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
Release Date: October 3, 2019
The boy next door.
Star of my teenage fantasies.
My tormentor.
After serving as an army doctor in some of the most dangerous places on Earth, Brandon has finally come home. And he’s brought his cocky, alpha attitude and rugged good looks with him. To my hospital. He’s still a loose cannon and I’m right in his sights.
But instead of begging for him to stop, this good girl is having to stop herself from begging for more.
I thought I put my obsession with this moody bad boy to bed.
It now appears that's right where he wants me.
I’ve always made good choices.
But this time I’m worried I’ll pick the one that's bad for me, even if Brandon feels oh so right.

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.
I really wasn't expecting the intensity that this story has. I was happily surprised when this book hooked me from the start.
The plot of the story is solid. The story pulls you in and intrigues you. You just want to know more about these characters. The writing has a perfect flow and the dialogue between characters felt natural.
The character growth in this story is amazing. So much happened for Aimee and Brandon in the past. The reader gets a great glimpse into that past and we get to see the changes that the characters have gone through in the last thirteen years. The characters have great development throughout the story.
Aimee and Brandon are attracted to each other but their relationship is anything but easy because of their shared pasts. They have a lot of issues to work through and overcome to make things work.
Overall, this is a moving story about forgiveness and personal growth that will inspire you and stay with you. If you enjoy angsty stories then I'd recommend this one. I haven't read the previous books in this series but I am totally geared up to read them now!

Taylor Holloway is a bestselling romance author who writes sweet and sexy stories with just enough of an edge to offset all the feels. Her books are specifically Taylor-ed to make you blush, cry, laugh, and swoon. She's an Austin native with a penchant for bad puns, strong margaritas, expensive shoes, and shiny things. When she's not writing, she's working a hilariously bland corporate job, spoiling her husband and cat, or going for long walks in the dark.
