Ilsa Madden-Mills is a queen of contemporary romance. It doesn't matter what subgenre or tropes she writes because I know that I am in for a good time when I pick up one of her books. 

I am just so over the moon with Madden-Mills' writing style! Reading one of her books feels like reading a book written just for me. I connect with her writing style easily and instantly every time I read one of her books. The plots in her stories are always compelling and leave me craving more. She weaves emotions into her stories effortlessly with dashes of humor and spice. There are also some more serious elements to the story that make it very well-rounded.

These characters absolutely won me over straight away. I really connected with Graham and Emmy because they were so relatable. It was easy to see their character growth throughout the story. I loved all of the supporting characters in this story. They added a lot of depth to the story and made things interesting. 

This romance was just the cutest! An amusing meet-cute and a fake marriage really set the scene well. Graham and Emmy's chemistry is so on point and what develops after they agree to their fake relationship is something that they can't let go of. I loved their banter and how their connection continued to grow. Even though they are thrust into this fake marriage, their romance doesn't feel rushed. Their growing bond and feelings for each other felt totally genuine. 

Overall, this was another fabulous romcom from a reigning queen of Romancelandia. Ilsa Madden-Mills releases high-quality books with impeccable writing, memorable characters, and well-crafted plots that will keep you wanting more. If you have never read one of her books before then I highly recommend doing so! I can't wait for her next release!
