Hearing the disbelief from my best friend's mouth makes the events of my failed date sting that much more.

Now I'm navigating through purgatory while trying not to get turned on by the way she holds my hand or kisses my jaw. It's all fake, that's what I keep telling myself, even though it feels entirely too real.

Thoughts

Meghan Quinn is one of my top go-to contemporary romance and rom-com authors. She always makes me laugh and she crafts her stories impeccably well. I always fall in love with her characters. I also love that the characters in her books often interconnect with characters from other books.

Thoughts

Stacey Marie Brown is an all-time favorite author for me. She can write in many different genres and still write the most intense, unbelievable story that you could imagine. This is her only series that I have not read as she released the books and it has been torturous to wait so long to read it. I have been waiting for the final book to release so that I can binge-read everything!

I will read anything this woman writes. She always pulls me in and shocks me with her twisty stories. I love her brand of dark romance.

Thoughts

This just sounds awesome. I am here all day long for YA Science Fiction. There aren't enough YA SciFi stories out there. I know that it isn't the best-selling genre so publishers tend to steer clear of it, but I still adore a good YA Science Fiction story. I wish that more publishers would give this genre a chance.
